Jeep Hybrid and EV Lineup

2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe and 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S

The Jeep name is synonymous with utility and performance, and this reputation extends to its growing number of plug-in hybrid and electric models. These Jeep vehicles deliver an impressive performance and carry the iconic brand language and modern features you expect from a Jeep.

The Differences Between Plug-In Hybrid and Electric Jeep Models

Jeep doesn't offer a conventional hybrid vehicle at the moment, but they do provide two plug-in hybrid options: the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe and the 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. Plug-in hybrids, or PHEVs, feature both a gasoline engine and an electric motor along with a larger battery compared to traditional hybrids but smaller than those in all-electric vehicles.

These batteries can be partially recharged via regenerative braking or fully charged through a dedicated port. When fully charged, Jeep's PHEVs can operate on electric power alone for over 20 miles. They start with electric power from the battery and switch to gasoline as needed, offering both flexibility and extended range.

Unlike plug-in hybrids, all-electric vehicles run entirely on electricity, produce no emissions, and deliver immediate torque for fast acceleration without needing fuel. Jeep's sole all-electric offering is the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S.
