2026 Dodge Durango vs 2025 Dodge Durango
Serving Midwest City, OK
The midsize Dodge Durango SUV offers the spacious, three-row cabin and premium features that you want, as well as the power that you need. In 2026, the Durango introduces several improvements to its performance and styling. What are the key differences between the Durango's 2025 and 2026 model years?
Performance
In 2025, the Durango's first two trim levels feature a 3.6-liter V6 gas engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. This system offers 295 horsepower with 260 pound-feet of torque. Higher trim levels have a 5.7-liter V8 unit that gives you 360 horsepower with 390 pound-feet of torque. The SRT Hellcat for 2025 comes with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 710 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque. The 2026 Durango has the same powertrains available, despite early reports that the V6 engine would not return.
Appearance
The 2026 Durango introduces a Blacktop Redline package. This package, which is only offered with the Durango R/T, gives you black badging, black 20-inch wheels, and aerodynamic upgrades. Otherwise, the 2025 and 2026 versions of the Durango have shared design traits. The model dominates the road with its commanding yet sleek profile, which includes a muscular swell running across the hood. At the front end, the grille adds a sporty quality with downturned ends. The rectangular headlights feature a pair of stacked yet separated LED ribbons. Select trims have exterior features like a Class IV trailer hitch, a power liftgate, and a few others.
Features
The same features that are offered with the 2025 Durango are also offered with the 2026 trim level. Some of the available features are forward collision sensing with mitigation, a heated steering wheel, a 10.1-inch touch display screen, a blind-spot warning, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, heated seats, a sunroof, lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, an Alpine or Harman Kardon sound system, leather upholstery, and several additional features.
