2025 Jeep Wrangler Sport S vs 2025 Jeep Wrangler Sahara

Serving Midwest City, OK

The Jeep Wrangler has a decades-long history of delivering a strong performance on city roads and off the beaten path. This iconic model has evolved substantially over the years yet still retains its classic styling and bold appeal. In 2025, the Jeep Wrangler is offered with six main trim levels as well as several sub-trim levels. The Sport S and the Sahara are both mid-level trim options, and a closer look reveals their notable differences.

Performance

The base powertrain in both of these trim levels is a 3.6-liter, V6 unit that puts out 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This unit pairs with a six-speed manual transmission. A turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine is also available with the Sport S and Sahara trim levels. This is a 270-horsepower system that produces 295 pound-feet of torque. It comes with an eight-speed auto transmission. For both trim levels, part-time four-wheel drive with low-range gearing is standard. Full-time all-wheel drive is an upgrade.

Appearance

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler is among the most easily recognizable models on the road today thanks to its boxy shape. It sports a tall, flat roof and a tall hood that rounds downward on the sides. The smooth sides are accompanied by strongly flared fenders and dark molding. Both the front and rear bumpers protrude for optimized functionality in tough driving conditions. The grille sports Jeep's signature column design. It has rounded sides and embedded, circular LED headlights. The Sport S comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, and tow hooks. The Sahara adds 18-inch wheels and body-colored fenders.

Features

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler Sport S has all of the essentials plus a few luxuries. Its features include forward collision warning, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, powered door locks and windows, air conditioning, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 12.3-inch infotainment system screen. The Sahara builds on these features with the addition of heated front seats, auto climate control, a heated steering wheel, keyless entry, and an upgraded driver's display.
