2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee vs 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Serving Midwest City, OK

The two-row Jeep Grand Cherokee has a solid history of delivering refinement with confident, dependable capabilities. This midsize SUV introduced its fifth generation to drivers in 2022. Now that you are focused on buying a new Grand Cherokee soon, you understandably need full details about the differences between the 2023 and 2024 model years.

Performance

The 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee has the same performance capabilities as its predecessor. The standard engine for all trim levels is a 293-horsepower, V6, 3.6-liter unit. If you opt for the Trailhawk, Summit, or Overland trim levels, you could opt for the 375-horsepower, plug-in hybrid four-cylinder engine. In addition, both the Summit and Overland are available with a 357-horsepower, 5.7-liter V8 engine. All Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs for both years have an eight-speed auto transmission. Some trim levels have standard four-wheel drive, hill descent control, tow hooks, a two-speed transfer case, and other performance-elevating equipment.

Appearance

Across the exterior, the 2024 Grand Cherokee is identical to its 2023 counterpart. The Grand Cherokee has the expected Jeep design language, including square wheel wells and a bar theme across the grille. The profile is also rectangular, and modest definition lines run across the sides and hood. The rectangular theme continues with the short LED headlights, the fog light ports, and the bumper's fascia. Select trims may come with 21-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a hands-free liftgate, a tow package, a black roof, and all-terrain tires.

Features

The same safety and cabin features available in the 2023 Grand Cherokee are offered in the 2024 model year. Features include remote engine start, adaptive cruise control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six USB ports, forward collision mitigation, rear parking sensors, a 10.1-inch touch display screen, memory settings for both front seats, heated seats for both rows, leather upholstery, a digital rearview mirror, second-row sunshades, auto braking, parking sensors, an Alpine audio system with nine speakers, a rear entertainment system, a 10.25-inch display screen for the front passenger, a surround-view camera, a night vision camera and many others.
