The premium Jeep Grand Cherokee delivers the high-end features and robust performance capabilities that you want from your next midsize SUV. In 2026, the ever-popular Grand Cherokee receives a few notable improvements to its style, engineering, and features.
Under the hood, a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine is now standard for all trim levels. This system produces 324 horsepower. An eight-speed auto transmission is included. Select trims are available with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. Other mechanical features that enhance the 2026 Grand Cherokee's performance include an adaptive air suspension system, a trailer tow package, a load-leveling suspension, and a heavy-duty engine cooling system.
The exterior of the 2026 Grand Cherokee has been subtly refreshed at both ends, giving it a modern look while retaining the brand's design language. The model continues to feature a confident and subtly squared-off design with elegant definition lines that roll across the sides. The squared-off fenders correspond with the rectangular, column-style grille design. To the sides of the grille, the headlights are styled with LED bulbs and a thick, upper LED accent line. The front fascia also has a layered look. The bumper is topped by a black element connecting the fog light ports. Exterior features include up to 20-inch wheels, automatic wipers, a power liftgate, and roof rails.
Inside the cabin, you will now find a larger 12.3-inch display screen for the infotainment system. This pairs with an all-new, optional 10.3-inch passenger display screen. The Grand Cherokee continues to come standard with features such as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument panel, keyless ignition, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, rear parking sensors with automatic braking, forward collision mitigation, and more.
Higher trim levels are also available with premium leather upholstery, a McIntosh sound system featuring 19 speakers, wood trim, a surround-view camera, a hands-free highway driving system, a four-zone climate control system, memory settings for the front row, and numerous other features.
