What's New for the 2026 Jeep Gladiator?
The 2026 Gladiator is a dependable midsize pickup truck closely designed after the ever-popular Wrangler SUV. This year, it introduces no updates and continues to appeal to the same audience as the 2025 version.
While all of the 2026 Gladiator trim levels have the same powertrain, there are notable mechanical differences between them. The powertrain is a 285-horsepower, 3.6-liter, V6 engine that generates 260 pound-feet of torque. It features an eight-speed automatic transmission and part-time four-wheel drive with low-range gearing. Select trim levels also come with a lifted front suspension, Fox internal bypass shock absorbers, hydraulic jounce bumpers, locking differentials in the front and rear, heavy-duty axles, and an electronically disconnecting front stabilizer bar.
The Gladiator shows off Jeep's body language from end to end. It sports a boxy cabin with only a hint of descent through the hood. The flat nose is styled with a wide grille, which feature vertical columns and integrated, circular LED lights. As with the Wrangler, the Gladiator has a removable roof and removable side doors. The fenders are boldly flared with well-defined corners. Some trim levels have tow hooks, rock rails, skid plates, all-terrain tires, a hard or soft top, and other practical features.
If you choose the entry-level trim for the 2026 Gladiator, your truck will come with wireless smartphone app connections, a 12.3-inch touch display screen, cruise control, a push-button starter, and an eight-speaker sound system. Features offered in the Gladiator's more advanced trim levels are a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, forward collision avoidance, an upgraded driver's display panel, keyless entry, leather upholstery, a blind-spot warning system with rear cross-traffic avoidance, heated front seats, power-adjusting front seats, a dual-zone auto climate control system, an Alpine sound system, and a front-facing camera.
