The Dodge Durango is not your ordinary three-row, midsize SUV. This model dominates the road with its strong engineering and styling. In 2026, the Durango is a mid-generation version with elevated appeal thanks to several improvements. These updates extend from the SUV's performance to its style.
Under the hood, the Dodge Durango lineup starts with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 295 horsepower. You can also upgrade to a 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine that produces 360 horsepower, a 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 engine that makes 475 horsepower, or a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that delivers 710 horsepower. Every Durango features an eight-speed auto transmission. Depending on the trim level selected, the Durango is laid out with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.
The 2026 Durango is offered with the Blacktop Redline package for the first time. This all-new package is exclusively available with the Durango R/T trim level. It outfits the SUV with SRT-grade aerodynamic features, special badging, and black 20-inch wheels. Otherwise, the Durango's design is unchanged for the 2026 model year. While this SUV accommodates up to seven passengers, its sleek design gives it a distinctive, athletic look.
A crisp definition line sweeps across the sides, paired with a ledge on the lower door panels. With the flat roof tapering into a liftgate spoiler, the Durango expresses power. At the front, the Durango has a moderately sized, downturned grille and a wide, dark bumper that adds aggression to the facade. The rectangular headlights are accented with upper and lower LED light bars. Exterior features offered with select or all Durango SUVs for 2026 include up to 20-inch wheels, a Class IV trailer hitch, and a power liftgate.
The features offered by Durango are unchanged across all trim levels. The standard features in the base GT trim are a 10.1-inch touch display screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, forward collision mitigation, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Higher trim levels and the Durango's optional packages add leather upholstery, adaptive cruise control, a nine-speaker Alpine sound system, heated rear seats, a wireless phone charger, lane keeping assistance, a forward collision warning with accident mitigation, parking sensors, and several additional features.
