What are the differences between PHEV, HEV, ICE, ZEV, and BEV?

There are several types of electrified vehicles. A PHEV, or plug-in hybrid elective vehicle, uses a combination of gas and electric energy. An HEV is a hybrid electric vehicle, and it has a battery and a gas engine. However, it does not need to be plugged in to recharge the battery. A BEV is a battery-electric vehicle that is powered exclusively by a rechargeable battery. A ZEV is a zero-emission vehicle that produces no air pollutants. ICE is an internal combustible engine, and this is the traditional gas engine that you may be familiar with.

How affordable is an EV?

Generally, electric vehicles have a higher upfront cost. However, because of the lower gas consumption and reduced maintenance needs, they are usually the more affordable option over the long term.

What are the current Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM EVs available?

What is the charging time for EVs?

The specific charging time varies by vehicle. For our models, a Level 3 fast charger can give you a full battery in roughly 30 to 60 minutes. The Level 1 charger used in homes can charge the battery fully in eight to 20 hours.

Where do you charge a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or RAM EV?

Most people charge their EVs at home overnight, so they have a fully charged battery in the morning. If you need to charge your electric vehicle's battery while you are away from home, there are many public charging stations available. Can you recycle an electric battery?

The typical EV battery has a life of 10 years. When you replace your EV's battery, our service center can help you recycle it. At the present time, up to 90% of an EV battery can be recycled.
